We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist. The ideal candidate for this position will be a Medical Technologist with a generalist background, (Blood Bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology or Microbiology). Must have a Bachelors degree and ASCP certified. Will rotate within the lab.

This is a Monday thru Friday, 11PM to 7AM.

Must have three or four years of formal education or training beyond high school or B.S. B.A. degree and be licensed by the State of Florida Department of Health, Medical Technologist.

Must have successful completion of an accredited clinical laboratory technologist training program in accordance with the State of Florida Department of Health, Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel Florida Administrative Code.

You would be responsible for performing clinical laboratory testing for all patient types in a timely, efficient and accurate manner in accordance with state, federal and other regulatory requirements.

Performs maintenance, quality control and quality assurance for all testing performed in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and departmental policies and procedures. Is able to prioritize workload and demonstrate flexibility to meet customer and departmental needs. Actively participates in process improvement to enhance turnaround times and quality of test results utilizing decision making and troubleshooting skills.

Effectively communicates and demonstrates good customer service throughout the health system to include nursing staff, physicians, patients, co-workers and other customers and employees.
